Tesla tech and the auto giant is recalling more than 475,000 electric cars of model 3 and model S due to problems with the trunk and the camera that captures the environment behind the vehicle, which increases the risk of collisions, American Traffic Safety Agency announced.

The American manufacturer is withdrawing from the market 356,309 cars of the 3 models made from 2017 to 2020 due to camera problems and 119,009 copies of the S model due to a faulty front boot lid.
“The unavailability of the rear camera display can affect the driver’s rearview and increase the risk of a collision,” the statement said.

“Tesla” is not known that due to these problems there was a collision or that there were injuries or deaths, the agency adds.
The value of Tesla’s shares fell by 1.1 percent today.
